Reviewers & the review process

Add reviewers, configure the review stage, and assign submissions.

Once submissions are in, you run peer review: reviewers score submissions against a rubric you control.

Configure the review stage

Under Reviews → Settings set:

  • Blind mode — open, single-blind, or double-blind.
  • Reviews per submission (e.g. 3) and a per-reviewer cap.
  • Auto-assign by track, reviewer decline, and reminder timing.
  • A deadline for reviews.

Review stage settings

The review rubric is the review form (created automatically with your submission form) — edit it in the form builder. An overall rating field is always included.

Add reviewers

Under Reviews → Reviewers, invite reviewers by email (they can join later via the invite link) or import a list. Reviewers can declare expertise so matching works better.

Assign submissions

Under Reviews → Assignments you can:

  • Auto-assign by track/expertise and confirm the preview.
  • Assign manually with the assignment matrix.
  • When AI is enabled, use Suggest reviewers on a submission for AI-ranked matches by topical fit.

Conflicts of interest can be declared and are respected during assignment.

Collecting reviews

Reviewers see their queue under My reviews and submit scores + comments (for the author and confidential notes for the committee). Reminders go out automatically before the deadline.
