The form builder
Build submission, review, decision, and registration forms with 27 field types.
Congressio uses one powerful form builder for every form type: submission, review, decision, and registration. Open a form under Forms and click into the editor.
Building a form
- Drag field types from the left palette onto the canvas.
- Configure each field: label, help text, required/optional, options, and conditional logic (show a field only when another has a certain answer).
- Organize fields across pages and a grid layout.
- Use Undo/Redo; changes autosave as a draft.
There are 27 field types, including short/long text, rich text, dropdowns, multi-select, file upload, rating, matrix, author list, and more.
Publishing & versions
A form must be published to be used publicly. Publishing snapshots a version — existing submissions keep the version they were made against, so editing a live form never corrupts in-flight data. You can review and restore earlier versions from History.
AI helpers
When AI is on:
- Suggest questions (submission forms) proposes additional fields for your event and appends them — undoable, never overwriting.
- Rewrite with AI polishes the success message and field help text.
The review and decision forms are created automatically alongside a submission form and stay linked to it, so you rarely create those by hand.
