Delete your account

Deleting your Congressio account is permanent. We immediately anonymize your profile and end your access. You can do this from the mobile app (Settings → Delete account) or here on the web.

• Your name, email address, profile photo and ORCID iD are erased from your account record.
• Your password and any linked Google / Apple sign-in connections are removed.
• Your event passes are revoked, and your device push-notification tokens are deleted.

Some records are kept because an event organizer relies on them or we are legally required to retain them. These are no longer linked to your personal identity:

• Submissions, reviews and registrations you created within an event, retained on behalf of that event's organizer.
• Payment metadata (amount, currency, status, reference) needed for accounting and tax obligations. Congressio never stores full card details.

Retained records are held only as long as needed for those purposes, and backups expire on a rolling basis. See our Privacy Policy for details.
